Scope of Work: Developed awareness and advocacy materials for WHO’s Western Pacific Region’s World Hepatitis Day. This included designing the World Hepatitis Day 2011 toolkit that contained the regional poster, postcards and web banners that countries could adapt with their own language for 37 countries. We also built the special initiative web site and the Facebook page to reflect the region’s 2011 theme and messages.

Communication: Interviewed staff to identify key communications objectives; introduced new strategies with engaging visuals, translated technical concepts to communication messages for the web, and created journalistic style articles and slide shows; and introduced Facebook page concept for high impact and ease of use in maintaining.

Planning & Logistics: Developed multi-platform messaging and communication to maximize the reach of the project; copy writing, content development and approval of technical data, editing and production; managed web site development within existing content management system and database programming, and created automatic dashboard type summary for the web; and led and coordinated photo shoots, interviews and video.

Design: Assessed available materials; directed production of new visuals for print and media; created eye catching, engaging visuals to display technical data, maps and statistics; and designed advocacy materials for distribution in 37 countries.
