\n\nTravel Nursing Job Details\n

• Location: Aberdeen, SD 57401 (South Dakota healthcare jobs)\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (12/22/2025 – 3/23/2026)\n
• Setting: Acute Care, Operating Room (OR)\n
• Shifts: 12-hour days (typically 6:00am – 6:00pm; early starts as needed)\n
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours guaranteed\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2180-$2340\n
• Call: Rotating call approximately every 4th weekend (Saturday & Sunday, 9am–1pm for outpatient infusions)\n
• Unit Details: 4 OR Suites, 1 Procedure Room, 8 PACU Bays, 18 Patient Center Rooms\n
• Charting System: Epic\n
• Scrubs: Ceil Blue (provided)\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active South Dakota RN license or compact state nursing license\n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience\n
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required\n
• PALS certification preferred\n
• Strong organizational and clinical documentation skills\n
• Experience with Epic charting and Pyxis medication systems preferred\n

\n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Circulate and assist with a range of surgical cases: general surgery, OB/GYN, urology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, cardiovascular, and bariatrics\n
• Prepare for surgery cases using preference card systems\n
• Efficiently set up, clean, and turnover operating rooms\n
• Operate and maintain surgical equipment (arthroscopic pumps, shavers, cautery machines, laser, fracture table, c-arm x-ray)\n
• Float within the perioperative department as needed (pre-op, post-op, outpatient infusions, PACU)\n
• Participate in call rotation and work occasional weekends/holidays as scheduled\n
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Epic electronic health record system\n
• Engage in ongoing orientation and training to ensure competency with department-specific equipment and workflows\n
