Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Estimator to join our Estimating Department. This is not a trainee or project engineer role—our ideal candidate brings a strong background in structural steel estimating and can immediately contribute to high-quality bid proposals and accurate take-offs.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed material take-offs for structural steel projects with speed and accuracy.

• Prepare and submit bid proposals, change orders, and preconstruction estimates under tight deadlines.

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop accurate estimates.

• Work closely with the estimating team to ensure competitive and compliant proposals.

• Utilize company software and industry tools to generate bids efficiently.

• Contribute to maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality within the Estimating Department.

Skills and Experience:

Qualifications

• Proven experience in structural steel estimating (required).

• Strong knowledge of preconstruction processes, bid-level proposals, and change order workflows .

• Demonstrated ability to perform precise and efficient take-offs under demanding schedules.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprints .

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Proficiency with estimating software (training will be provided on internal systems).

Preferred

• Education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field .

• Previous experience in a structural steel fabrication or construction environment.
