Job Description
Responsible for scheduling and coaching of practices of the Basketball Special Olympics Program.
Makes certain conditions are safe for practices - proper ratio for athletes/coaches/volunteers.
Makes certain all medicals are current and on hand at all events.
Oversees entire programs and provides coverage for other coaches who may be absent.
Involves volunteers in program-keep paperwork in order.
Prepares registration as needed.
Assists whenever possible to achieve a successful program.
Schedules officials, timers, and volunteers as needed.
Oversees other safety aspects.
Prior basketball coaching experience, valid Ohio driver's license, and prior experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
