Shipper/Packer

Location: Hines, IL 60141
Shift: 1 st shift
Job Summary:
The Shipper/Packer is responsible for the safe and efficient packing, labeling, and shipping of customer orders. They will ensure that all items are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment in accordance with company policies and carrier requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory and supplies
- Accurately pick, pack, and label customer orders according to specifications
- Carefully package products to prevent damage during transit
- Accurately weigh, measure, and document package details
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule and facilitate the timely shipment of orders
- Maintain shipping area organization and cleanliness
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed
- Comply with all safety regulations and report any incidents or hazards
- Support other warehouse and logistics tasks as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a shipping, packing, or warehousing role
- Proficient in using shipping software, scales, and other packing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under time pressure
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and repetitive motions
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with carrier requirements and shipping protocols HonorVet Technologies
