This role will play a critical part in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring operational efficiency across our global footprint, while leading and developing high-performing teams to achieve business goals. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Performs and analyzes financial modeling, economic research, trends and studies across topics such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, investments, and cost against budget, variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations, consolidates financial plans and provides insights to management. Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems including information flow, volume, ad hoc reporting, and analysis. May provide analysis on business development and monitor business performance by unit, division or group. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering growth, collaboration, and accountability to achieve organizational and operational goals. Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 15+ years of progressive finance experience (or 13+ years with an advanced degree), including 13+ years of managerial experience leading high-performing teams. Strong operational finance expertise, including cost accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and strategic decision support in a manufacturing or operational environment. Nice to Have: Preferred Requirements Experience driving financial performance in MedTech, life sciences, or complex manufacturing industries. Expertise in operational finance areas such as supply chain finance, manufacturing analytics, and capital investments. Deep understanding of global manufacturing operations, including cost optimization, inventory management, and gross margin improvement. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced financial modeling tools. Demonstrated success in leading financial transformation initiatives, including process improvements and system implementations. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience partnering with executive leadership and operations teams. Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive meaningful impact in a global organization. Salary ranges for U.S. locations (USD): $203,200.00 - $304,800.00 This position is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP) and for an annual long-term incentive plan. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and certain locations in California. Compensation and benefits information pertains to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
