Job Description

Seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full academic year contract position at an elementary school located in Paterson, NJ. This opportunity allows you to make a significant impact supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee individualized behavioral intervention plans based on functional behavior assessments
• Provide direct observation and data collection to monitor student progress and effectiveness of interventions
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and promote positive behavioral outcomes
• Train and support school staff in behavior management techniques and best practices
• Participate in regular meetings to review student data and update plans as needed

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Experience working within educational settings, preferably at the elementary level
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and assessment tools
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments and promoting positive student growth
