Job Description

This role offers an opportunity to provide essential support to an elementary school setting as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The position is contract-based and spans the entire academic school year, allowing you to apply your expertise in behavior analysis to foster positive student outcomes.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in an educational setting
• Strong skills in behavior assessment, data analysis, and intervention planning
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
• Knowledge of best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis within schools

Location:

• Elementary school setting in Edison, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
• Train and support teachers and staff in behavior strategies and data collection
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote inclusive educational environments
• Track progress and make data-driven decisions to adjust interventions as necessary
