Adams MultiMedia is seeking a Reporter to join The Carroll News , a dynamic, community-focused weekly newspaper based in Hillsville, Virginia.
This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in keeping Carroll County informed and engaged. Responsibilities include reporting on local news, writing clear and compelling articles and feature stories, photographing community events, and sharing content through our website and social media platforms. The ability to cover local sports is a plus.
The ideal candidate must be passionate about journalism and community storytelling. Preference will be given to applicants with prior newspaper reporting experience or experience working in a professional publication, as well as those with a degree in journalism or a related field.
