This role offers a competitive fixed salary with commission potential, providing the opportunity for high earnings. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and fix-and-flip loans, with a strong self-production background. As a Private Money Loan Officer, you will work with clients seeking private financing solutions, building relationships and helping them secure the funding they need. Key Responsibilities: Manage the loan process for construction and fix-and-flip projects, from initial contact to closing. Provide financing solutions to real estate investors and developers by underwriting private money loans for fix-and-flip, construction, and rehab projects. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to generate leads and business. Self-produce and generate your own leads while also working with some company-provided leads. Identify and analyze borrower needs, assess project viability, and recommend appropriate loan products. Work closely with underwriters, processors, and clients to ensure smooth loan origination and closing. Attend and participate in sponsored events and networking opportunities to bring in new business and further expand the client's customer base. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and the private lending landscape. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a loan officer, specifically with construction and fix-and-flip loan products. Proven ability to self-produce leads and manage a pipeline of clients. Strong understanding of private money lending, fix-and-flip financing, and construction loans. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with real estate investors, developers, and other stakeholders. Experience with underwriting, structuring, and closing private money loans. Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload efficiently.
