Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities and Position Qualifications: Quality is in our DNA! East Side Clinical Laboratory, a leader in the medical laboratory industry, is seeking entry level to experienced phlebotomists to come join and be a part of their exciting, growing team!
Entry Level Phlebotomist Applicants who have minimal or no experience should be applicants who have drawn on a wide array of patients during their clinical internship / externship; children, adults, elderly. These applicants should be skilled with both butterfly and straight needles, and have some data entry / computer skills. ASCP Certification is a plus but not required.
Hours and training locations will vary, but will certainly be discussed prior to interview.

Schedule :
- Monday thru Friday, Varied Hours / 8 hour days with a Saturday Rotation
- Part-Time at a Branch in RI or MA
- Flexibility Required
Requirements :
Must have received Phlebotomy Certificate
Must have completed a Clinical Internship and/or Externship *Outside of the School's Program if newly certified as a phlebotomist
Must have completed a minimum of 100 draws if newly certified as a phlebotomist

These above requirements MUST be met for consideration in order to be interviewed
Without all 3 requirements we cannot employ due to liability reasons. Candidates will need to show proof of their clinical internship and / or externship conducted as well as provide a copy of their phlebotomy certificate if chosen for the position.
Responsibilities/Requirements Include :
Formal training in phlebotomy procedures and techniques Must possess excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with patients and clients Ability to use a computer and systems Flexibility for varied schedule required Valid Driving Record, valid/active drivers license, auto insurance, auto registration Proof of Phlebotomy Certification is required Bilingual Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply East Side Clinical Lab reserves the right to change schedule/location, as required and based on business needs if necessary.
