We are seeking a Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility in Boca Raton, FL (33433) .

Position Details

• Job Title: Phlebotomist I
• Location: Boca Raton, FL 33433
• Pay Range: $17.75/hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Rotational Weekends
• Duration: 6+ Months
• Compensation: Salary is determined by years of experience and relevant certifications/licenses

Key Responsibilities

• Perform safe, accurate, and skillful blood collections (venipunctures & capillary draws)
• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing in both clinical and forensic settings
• Handle pediatric, geriatric, and special patient populations with care and professionalism
• Accurately verify and label specimens, ensuring compliance with patient ID protocols
• Maintain updated patient demographics and obtain required signatures post-collection
• Demonstrate leadership and promote a positive image of the organization
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and confidentiality standards
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Build strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers through excellent service
• Travel to other Patient Service Centers or In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) sites as needed
• Attend training sessions and maintain required credentials

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience , including pediatric & geriatric collections
