Job Description

Description

Join an organization where we actually encourage you to spend a little extra time building warm, friendly relationships with the older adults we serve. At Presbyterian SeniorCare Network, we want our PCAs to build those relationships and create meaningful moments while they provide direct care. Travel back in time as you listen to our residents’ life stories about their careers, families, and hobbies – some have fought in wars, others have fought for civil rights. These relationships are why families and residents love and treasure our PCAs. Join our accredited, award-winning organization that offers a wide range of living and care options. You’ll make a positive impact on the lives of older adults every day. In our personal care communities, you will work in a home-like environment that enables older adults to live their lives to the fullest in an atmosphere of dignity, independence, and choice. Our PCAs are responsible for:
  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing and toileting, to ensure good hygiene, grooming and self-esteem.
  • Responding to call bells.
  • Serving meals or monitoring eating or drinking to identify dietary concerns. May prepare meals on some occasions.
  • Accompanying residents to and from the dining room, various appointments, and activities when necessary to ensure safety and timely arrival, conducting planned and spontaneous activities with residents to encourage socialization and promote self-esteem.
  • Assisting with admission, discharges and transfers of residents to promote continuity of care.
Why you will love being a PCA at Presbyterian SeniorCare Network:
  • Earn a Good Living: We offer competitive rates and a full menu of benefit options. Salary Range: $15.20 - $19.44.
  • Paid Time Off: Full-time team members accrue paid time off at 21 days per year starting from the first day of employment (usable after 90 days on the job). That means you can earn more than four weeks of paid time off during your first year;
  • Flexibility: Flexible shifts and schedules.
  • Career Growth : For PCAs who want to expand their clinical knowledge, we provide on-site CNA Training classes as well as tuition support to help you or a dependent go to school to earn your Licensed Practical Nursing Degree.
  • Innovate: Be part of an organization that’s well known for finding new ways to solve problems. We were among the first to think differently about how to care for older adults and create new programs to help them lead more engaging, fulfilled lives.
  • Be Inspired: Create meaningful moments while you provide direct care to the older adults we serve.
Benefits:
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous Paid Time Off
  • Employer-paid short-term disability
  • Company-paid life insurance for full-time employees
  • Retirement Savings Plan
  • Team member referral bonuses
  • Recognition program
  • Free parking
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Person-centered onboarding
  • A rewarding career with an opportunity to make a difference
Our PCAs are required to:
  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or GED or provide documentation that the GED or high school diploma will be received within 6 months of hire
  • Be able to effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members
