A new media tech company in Washington, D.C. is actively seeking an experienced Administrative professional to join their team as their new Office Manager. This is a high-visibility role that blends the responsibilities of an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Receptionist, and Operations Coordinator.

About the Opportunity:

  • Assignment Length: Temp to perm
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the face of the office, including greeting guests, managing front desk operations, and creating a welcoming, professional environment
  • Support office operations: supplies, space planning, meeting setup, catering, shipping/receiving, etc.
  • Partner closely with facilities, security, IT, and external vendors to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Provide light EA support to senior leadership (scheduling, travel coordination, meeting prep)
  • Support onboarding logistics for new hires and coordinate workspace assignments
  • Lead coordination for in-office events, team meetings, and ad hoc requests
  • Jump into fast-moving tasks and manage priorities in a rapidly scaling environment

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Office Coordination, Operations, and/or Executive Support roles
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Proactive problem-solver with a "no task too small" attitude
  • Experience juggling multiple stakeholders and teams
  • Comfortable working onsite in a high-energy, high-growth office

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in a Media, Tech, or Start-Up environment
