The Office Manager will oversee office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to support employees while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate, and implement new procedures.
  • Manage office supply inventory
  • Oversee office projects that require contractor support, by reviewing contracts, discussing plans, and making sure project falls within budget and timeline is completed within deadline
  • Oversee vendors and contracts
  • Oversee maintenance, landscaping and overall building needs to keep and improve the office work environment.
  • Provide administrative support to senior management
  • Help coordinate activities/entertainment when senior managers visit the location. Oversee one or more employees
  • Establish work priorities and ensure task deadlines are met
  • Conduct performance evaluations
  • Create KPI goals for employee(s)
  • Approve time off requests
  • Assist in budget preparation for the following year
  • Monitor office expenses and budget
  • Support ESG activities
  • Ensure effective communication regarding important information and updates within the office,
  • Assist HR Team with annual HR events
  • Coordinate and conduct annual events for employees

Additional responsibilities as they arise

Work Experience

  • 5 years in office management role
  • Experience managing direct reports and overseeing team performance is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration is preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Self-motived and highly organized skills are required
  • Capable of multitasking and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly identify and problem solve issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment
  • Strong leadership skills to oversee office staff and ensure high productivity.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and administrative tasks
