HIRING IMMEDIATELY: OFFICE MANAGER IN HOUSTON, TX 77042

We are hiring for an Office Manager to join our client’s team to ensure efficient operations of the office and provide support to the staff through administrative tasks. You will provide a variety of administrative support to management and staff, manage office resources, and help to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Pay, Schedule, Location

  • Ranging from $50,000 - $55,000 annually, paid weekly
  • 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
  • Location in Houston, TX 77042

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to management and staff, including preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, including preparing certified mailings, business personal property renditions, and managing FedEx shipments.
  • Assist with creating annual client folders and managing documentation during protest hearing season.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Manage office cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and assist with orders as needed.
  • Handle office equipment (mail machines, printers, copiers), including maintenance and troubleshooting basic issues.
  • Ensure copier functionality and that conference rooms are stocked.
  • Coordinate with building management for repairs and services, including assisting with lighting issues.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference room usage.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating office events and activities, such as holiday events, employee birthdays, and other special events.
  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Prepare the office for client visits, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Run errands as needed to support office functions.
  • Manage tasks related to annual tax signatory and notarizing documents.
  • Assist the administration department with case folders and certified letters.
  • Help with downloading county evidence and websites.
  • Manage the printing and ordering of company letterhead and business cards.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar administrative leadership role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable using other administrative software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with staff, clients, and vendors.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A high school diploma is required; an associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
