Our direct client has an opening for a Security Analyst 11585-1.

This position is up to 12 months, with the option of extension, in Columbia, SC.

Preferred Requirements/Skills:

• BS degree in computer science or similar discipline.
• Prior ITIL experience in the area of Information Security Management.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

• 5+ years of experience in IT working with and/or auditing IBM System 390/zSeries, Windows, Linux, Databases (Relational and Non-Relational), Networking Infrastructure and Web-based Applications.
• Prior experience working within a FISMA compliant program.
• Prior experience in working with any eGRC systems.
• Prior Health Information Technology experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

• Prior ITIL experience in the area of Information Security Management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• ISC(2), ISACA, SANS GIAC and/or other Information Security Certification is required.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's in a related area or 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Information security compliance standards Yes 1 Advanced Currently Using 2 - 4 Years.
• Leadership skills No 1 Advanced Within 2 Years 2 - 4 Years.
• Cybersecurity Yes 1 Advanced Currently Using 6 + Years.
• Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) Yes 1 Advanced Within 5 Years 2 - 4 Years.
• HIPAA Security Yes 1 Advanced Currently Using 4 - 6 Years.
• Network Security information security principles and practices Yes 1 Advanced Currently Using 1 - 2 Years.
• MARS-E Yes 1 Advanced Currently Using 2 - 4 Years.
• Information Security No 3 Intermediate Within 5 Years 2 - 4 Years.
• Supervisory Leadership Experience No 1 Advanced Within 2 Years 4 - 6 Years.
• TIL No 2 Intermediate Within 5 Years 1 - 2 Years.
• eGRC solutions No 2 Intermediate Within 6 Months 1 - 2 Years.
• NIST Security No 1 Intermediate Currently Using 6 + Years.
