We are looking for an entry-level Illustrator to join a dynamic apparel company in Issaquah, Washington. This is a contract role with the long-term goal to become permanent. In this role, you will play a key part in creating detailed design specifications that will be presented to customers by the sales team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys working with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, and has a passion for delivering high-quality visuals.

Location: Hybrid role with in office expectations Tuesday through Thursday (Issaquah, WA), remote work Monday and Friday

Duration: 6-9 months with the goal to become FTE

Pre-placement requirements: Background check and drug screen

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and visually appealing design specifications for customer presentations.

• Collaborate with the sales and design teams to ensure all illustrations meet client expectations.

• Utilize Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to create precise and detailed illustrations.

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency in all designs.

• Organize and prioritize multiple projects to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Incorporate customer feedback into designs to deliver tailored solutions.

• Ensure all illustrations align with company branding and design standards.

• Adapt to evolving project requirements while maintaining design accuracy and precision.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the quality of illustrations.

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience or relevant education in illustration or graphic design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with a strong focus on Illustrator and InDesign.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering precise designs.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Passion for working with intricate designs and creating high-quality illustrations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve project goals.
• Familiarity with vector and digital illustration techniques.
• Eagerness to adapt and grow within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
