We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Japanese Translator to support cross-language communication and general HR activities in a manufacturing setting. This individual will provide written and verbal translation, while also assisting with front office and departmental tasks.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate written and spoke communication between Japanese and English for individuals and groups
  • Proofread translated content to ensure accuracy in grammar, tone, and meaning
  • Use translation tools and reference materials to maintain quality and consistency
  • Support internal teams by conveying messages clearly and culturally appropriately
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and employee communications as needed
  • Handle administrative tasks such as mail distribution, front desk coverage, and answering calls
  • Support HR with confidential documentation, scheduling, and special projects
Qualifications:
  • Proven history as a translator, interpreter, or similar role
  • Fluent in Japanese and English, technical terms required
  • preferred 5+ years of manufacturing experience
