This position is full time onsite and located at 701 Riverway Place Bedford, NH primarily but will frequent Manchester hospital location.

About the Job

Under the supervision and direction of the Executive Director, Philanthropy for the Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation, the Administrative Assistant will support the critical administrative functions for the fundraising programs of the MJE Foundation including donation processing, constituent data entry, donor communications, administrative support for fundraising events and other critical clerical tasks to support the philanthropy program. This role will also provide administrative support for our community engagement programs.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Annual Fund and Donor Stewardship Manager, the position is responsible for the qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation donors, prospects, physicians, grateful patients/families, and others capable of $500+ and has a comprehensive understanding of best practices for leadership annual giving engagement.

The Annual Giving Specialist holds a primary focus to close annual fund gifts through the $1,000 level and maintains a portfolio of 100 donors and prospects. In addition, the Annual Giving Specialist, will assist in the development of annual giving solicitations, as well as stewardship events, volunteer opportunities, and communications to maximize engagement and philanthropy of Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation prospects and donors.

What You'll Do

• Manages 100 annual giving and corporate prospects.
• Assists the Manager of Annual Giving and Donor Relations with the solicitation and engagement of Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation annual giving donors.
• Works closely with Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation leadership to create a comprehensive strategic plan for short-and long-term growth of this important pipeline program.
• Works collaboratively with peers in the Foundation to maximize fundraising.
• Builds strong personal relationships with physicians, staff, grateful patient/family donors, and friends as well as key staff partners to increase mid-level annual giving donors of $100-$1,000.
• Travels frequently throughout greater Manchester to serve as an ambassador for Mary & John Charitable Foundation.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree required. A minimum of 3 years of fundraising and nonprofit experience required. Proficient in the use of MS office and database management Blackbaud and Raisers Edge.
