Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher at an early childhood school in Hingham, MA. This role focuses on supporting young learners in kindergarten and elementary school settings with specialized instruction tailored to their unique educational needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with special education needs in a kindergarten and elementary school environment.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and parents to develop and implement tailored education plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet learning goals.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal special education regulations.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports social, emotional, and academic development.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience teaching kindergarten or elementary-aged students, preferably in an early childhood setting.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and individualized education program (IEP) development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

• Early childhood school environment located in Hingham, MA.
