Position Description

GarrettX is looking for Dump Truck drivers that are The Best On Earth. As a company we work in all kinds of conditions, but we primarily are doing large scale commercial site work, underground utility installation, road base, curb, and asphalt paving. Our perfect candidate will have experience driving on-road and off-road hauling dirt, gravel, sand, asphalt, and other aggregate material.

• Must comply with all laws dictated by DOT, FMCSA, and the state of Arkansas.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operational order and report all maintenance or repair issues to maintenance personnel promptly.

• Must have experience in both tri- and quad-axle dump trucks. ?

• Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventive maintenance tasks and/or making minor repairs as required.

• Obey applicable laws, follow dispatch instructions, follow approved routes.

• Maintain operator logs, timecards, mileage sheets, vehicle repair sheets, and records in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.

• Complies with OSHA, company, and all client-required safety policies and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Safety Sensitive Position.

• Must possess a valid Class B or Class A Commercial Drivers License.

• Must be able and comfortable with driving a manual dump truck, NO AUTO RESTRICTIONS. (If you are Automatic Restricted, you must be able to get restriction removed.)

• Must pass a Federal Drug Screen (DOT Drug Screen)

• Must be cleared to drive by the FMCSA Clearinghouse.

• Clean MVR (driving) Record

• Current Medical Card (Present a Short/Long Form)

• Must be able to pass company driving skills test.

• Must have knowledge of dump truck tarping system.

• Tanker or Hazmat endorsements is a plus. ?
