Job Description

This is a largely on-site, full-time, salaried position with benefits, based in Frederick, MD. As a pivotal member of the ArachnidWorks team, the Digital Marketing Strategist assumes a leadership role in the planning and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that cater to our diverse clientele. This multifaceted position includes responsibilities as an SEO Specialist and Paid Digital Media Specialist while also bearing a focus on business development and sales. The ideal candidate is envisioned as a strategic visionary, proficient in managing client communications, optimizing digital campaigns, and driving growth related to our clients’ digital marketing goals. This role encompasses the strategic planning and continuous refinement of marketing strategies across our client portfolio. Furthermore, it entails the nurturing of client-facing relationships, especially with our higher-value accounts, where the Digital Marketing Strategist can see a pathway into full-scale Digital Marketing Directorship. In addition to these responsibilities, this role requires you to be a primary problem solver for our clients, adept at addressing challenges and pioneering innovative solutions. Within this role, strategic thinking and analytical prowess will not only propel the success of our digital marketing campaigns but also fortify client relationships and play an integral role in our overall growth trajectory. Duties & Responsibilities Digital Strategy and Management: Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies encompassing SEO, Paid Media, and Account Management. Ensure alignment of paid campaigns with overall marketing objectives and client goals. Continuously assess and adapt digital strategies to enhance ROI and achieve client success. SEO Expertise: Take ownership of on-page and off-page SEO, including technical SEO recommendations. Conduct keyword research, monitor performance metrics, and optimize website content and architecture for improved search rankings. Paid Digital Media Management: Plan, implement, and manage paid media campaigns, including Google Ads and various social media platforms. Optimize paid search, social, and programmatic advertising campaigns to maximize conversions and ROI. Monitor and adjust advertising budgets to ensure optimal performance. Client Relationship Management: Act as a client-facing liaison/consultant, be available to support our Account Management team with in-person and virtual meetings to understand and communicate client needs effectively. Define measurable goals, provide regular updates on campaign performance, and offer data-driven recommendations. Required Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in SEO, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Digital Paid Media, and Digital Marketing Analytics. Strong content marketing, web design, and digital advertising expertise. Exceptional analytical skills and ability to derive insights from data. Effective time management and prioritization skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities. Proficiency in project management tools. Additional Qualifications Knowledge of HTML/WordPress is a plus. Google Analytics Certification is a plus. Google Ads Certification is a plus. HubSpot Certification is a plus. Required Education/Experience 3-5 years of marketing or advertising experience, with a focus on SEO, paid media management, analytics, and campaign management. Proven experience in mentoring and leading marketing teams. Proficiency in documentation management and project management tools.
