Limestone Logistics is a small package delivery service. You will be delivering packages from a specified pickup location and delivering them to customers. Our delivery area is Florence, Union, Burlington and Hebron.
We are hiring for employees delivering small packages in your own vehicle.
Vehicle must be 15 years old or less, with no major cosmetic issues, no offensive stickers, and current registration and insurance.
Once approved, you can expect to work up to 30 hours a week. We text available routes the evening before and you can choose to accept or not. However, once accepted you are expected to run the route. No shows are terminated as we do not overbook drivers.
Advantage of Limestone over other delivery services is you will know your delivery area BEFORE you accept the route and you will know the size of your route. Limestone operates 7 days per week and you will have the option of a set schedule.
Pay is calculated per batch of packages you deliver. It is calculated by distance required for the delivery, number of packages, and estimated delivery time. For example, you may deliver a batch that is expected to take 2 hours to deliver and make $40 for the batch. You can accept multiple batches a day depending on your schedule.
Responsibilities include:
Deliver and scan packages carefully and accurately.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, taking photos and placing package properly.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
*Qualifications*
-Clean background check and drug screen.
-Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
-Familiarity with local area Florence, Union, Burlington, Hebron.
-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members. Responding to messages and calls timely.
