Corporate (Health Care Regulatory) Associate - Sarasota
Description:
Direct Counsel is representing a nationally recognized law firm with a rapidly expanding Health Care Transactions Practice Group in its Sarasota, Florida office. This is a compelling opportunity for a mid-level associate from an Am Law or top-tier firm seeking to focus on high-value transactions in the health care sector while gaining greater client interaction and leadership opportunity in a growing market.

The firm's platform combines the sophistication and resources of a national practice with the agility and close-knit culture of a boutique environment. Attorneys here work on complex, multimillion- and billion-dollar transactions across the health care industry, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, strategic joint ventures, and divestitures. Clients span from physician groups and private equity-backed platforms to hospital systems and health care management companies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 4-6 years of experience in corporate transactions with a focus on M&A and health care regulatory issues
• Prior Am Law or highly regarded firm experience preferred
• Familiarity with health care compliance and fraud and abuse laws (e.g., Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute) is a plus
• Florida Bar membership required (or eligibility to waive in)
