Seeking to hire a Construction Project Manager to work on an excellent variety of mixed commercial construction projects in Northern Virginia. This Prince William County based general contractor has an incredibly strong pipeline of Data Center, Industrial as well as Interior office, Education and Healthcare projects in Northern Virginia and are looking to hire Project Managers with new construction commercial experience to join them on this journey!

Your new role:

As a Construction Project Manager in their new construction department, you will be site-based working alongside an established and successful field and project management. You will be reporting into a Project Executive. If you are passionate about people leadership, there is the opportunity here to lead a team.

Depending on schedule, you could support on smaller interiors projects but could scale up to large new construction projects scale up to as large as $30M where you would be working on 1 project at any given time. If you have a preference between interiors or new construction the company will likely keep you in one division. You will be responsible for running the project management program, working closely with the field management team. Project budget and financial tracking, scheduling, construction documentation, quality control and client POC will all fall under your/PM teams’ responsibility.

What you need to succeed:

• 6-12 years of Construction experience working for a commercial construction general contractor demonstrating progressive growth in responsibilities.
• New/ground up construction project experience and can come from within any commercial construction sector.
• A construction related degree such as engineering, architecture or construction management is desired but not essential.
• Comfortable in an on-site position in the company HQ in Prince William County, with construction job site visits throughout the Northern Virginia area.

What you'll get in return:

• Base salary in the range of $125K - $145K, assessed case by case on experience.
• Guaranteed year 1 bonus, with total bonus in the 10%-40% range based on performance.
