Our organization is seeking a seasoned and innovative Chief Civil Engineer to spearhead our engineering team. We are looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for overseeing all civil engineering projects, including design, development, and implementation. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem-solver with a deep understanding of infrastructure planning, civil engineering principles, and project management.

Responsibilities:

As a Chief Civil Engineer, you will be tasked with:

1. Overseeing all civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Developing and implementing detailed project plans, including resources, timelines, and budgets.
3. Reviewing and approving project designs and plans, ensuring they meet all relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
4. Leading and managing a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive performance.
5. Collaborating with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors, to ensure project requirements are met.
6. Performing quality control checks on projects, identifying any issues or areas of improvement.
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
8. Preparing and presenting detailed reports on project progress and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
9. Managing the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring they meet project requirements and quality standards.
10. Ensuring all projects adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be highly advantageous.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
3. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior civil engineering role.
4. Proficient in using engineering software for design and simulation.
5. Extensive experience with QC, drawings, and civil engineering principles.
6. Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and standards.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
