Carrier Relations Analyst

About The Role:

The Carrier Relations Analyst is responsible for providing research, audits, reports and recommendations regarding off-net vendors and their services.

What You'll Do:

• Evaluate and locate optimal off-net vendors to develop telecommunications solutions for the company.
• Review and validate vendor invoice data and be able to reconcile it to both contracts and Sales Force software.
• Prepare vendor reports and analytics across various metrics.
• Maintain up to date vendor data for the organization including vendor maps, building lists, contacts and escalation lists.
• Interface with sales, engineering, and operations teams to recommend and help develop optimization solutions.
• Interface with Finance regarding vendor invoice validation and account coding.
• Constantly work to identify any offnet consolidation and optimization opportunities.
• Work with the team on vendor audits and data validation projects.
• Act as liaison for the organization with the vendor in resolving any billing or service issues that may arise.

Do You Have:

• BS or BA Degree preferred or comparable experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing, cost management, or data analysis.
• Experience in access planning, network provisioning, or network planning highly valued.
• Experience with financial planning, reporting, and tracking highly valued.
• Experience with contracts highly valued.

Even Better:

• Highly organized, ability to multi-task and detail oriented.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
• Experience with GIS packages such as Google Earth, MapPoint or Map Info is highly valued.
• Relationship management - ability to develop and maintain productive stakeholder relationships.
• Strong negotiating and deal making skills.
• Presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
