Job Description

A Behavior Analyst with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is needed to support an elementary school setting in Tacoma, WA. This contract position spans the full school year (NSY) and involves applying evidence-based behavior analysis practices to promote positive student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral challenges.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral needs and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistent application of behavior strategies.
• Provide training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques.
• Collect and analyze data to assess student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students.
• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Skilled in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
